Trivia of my uneventful day

  1. Smooth traffic at Tuas Checkpoint this morning. How i wish tomorrow can be the same; traffic at checkpoints on Friday is always bad.

  2. Was almost suffocated in the office because the two ladies sitting at the same area as me turned the temperature of the two air-con up to 27°C. (What the heck?!They might as well go outside and sit under the sun!) It was too stuffy and so i switched on another air-con at 24°C. Three persons with three air-con running. So much for environmental protection.

  3. Busy with importing physical stock-take data into the system for Finance Department. Detected many data errors and i gotta resolve the problems. Last i checked, i was still in IT Department. The roles of IT have shifted so much i guess.

  4. Heard the Facility Manager singing at the top of his voice in his room for hours. That's the good thing about being in a near-death company: you can do whatever you want with so few people around and so little work to do -- and you get paid for it.

  5. Saw the milk bottles again in the the pantry... and something more than just milk bottles actually:

Oh, so that was how our Financial Controller milked herself. Erm, but hor, would that two things -- whatever you call them -- be big enough for her?

  6. Called my friends who didn't check emails to inform them about the gathering this Saturday. Yes, i have a bunch of good friends who only access the Internet occasionally, unlike me who can hardly survive without the Web. They have healthy lifestyle.

  7. Heard from mom that grandma's diabetes had worsen. We suspected that she had taken her prescription wrongly. Grandma is very old and illiterate. Aunt should have prepared the right dosage for her everyday instead of letting her taking the medication on her own.

  8. Couldn't finish the strawberry yoghurt i bought a few days ago. It was simply too much. Why oh why did i buy such a big canister?! *belch*

  9. Was confused between walnut and pecan. Googled the images and thought the two look rather alike.

  10. Resumed my reading on The Five People You Meet in Heaven.

Thank you for at least letting me know that there's a difference between pecan and walnut..

I am beginning to love your daily trivias.

But i'm not sure what's the difference in taste between pecan and walnut leh... They both taste chocolaty to me because they are always found in the chocolate bars. :P
