It has been like this for hours.
No kidding. It isn't a Friday, and there isn't a long weekend either. So why such massive jam?
No thanks to that JI fugitive, who escaped from Singapore detention center yesterday. Now, we are talking about a person who knows how to make bomb and would not hesitate to blast people into unrecognizable pieces in the name of his God. This is serious.
Frankly, for this to happen in Singapore, i was really surprised. There goes their reputation of being a safe country.
To ensure that guy does not run to Malaysia (which i believe he would probably feel right at home), Singapore government has tightened up the security at both checkpoints. So until he is tracked down, we are gonna have this massive jam at the border everyday.
I'm also worried about the safety in Singapore now. I mean, i bet he must bear grudges for being detained for more than a year by the government. If he ever gets the chance to have his hands on some materials that can be made into bomb, the next big news we will be reading may probably be the very first terrorist attack in Singapore, that is if we are still alive to be reading the news instead of being in the news.
I just hope that he can be captured soon.
