And yeah, i am going back to Taipei again, on coming Sunday's flight. Will be there for a week again.
I was back in SG last Saturday evening. 贝 picked me up and went back directly to JB.
Then on Sunday, mom and us went to the Toyota dealer in JB. We decided to get mom a new car, Toyota Avanza. I know that she has been unhappy driving the small Kelisa around. Well, Kelisa to Avanza, that's a big difference, in terms of the size of the car. She should be happy now.
The sales man told us that we could expect the car to be released within this week. With this new car, it means that the money i gave to mom each month will have to increase to cover the additional installment amount. Sigh, added liability... oh well, as long as it makes her happy.
Have been really busy at work, preparing for the trip next week. We got to get things ready for the final round of testing and data migration. Then it will be up to the local management to decide if we are going live.
So, we are now at this do-or-die juncture -- if things don't go as planned and the decision is not to go live, this will be considered a failed project and all the money spent will be down the drain. Our KPIs for the year will fail too.
Anyway, i'm taking leave on this Friday. I think i deserve a good rest before the start of another hectic week. I'm so looking forward to tomorrow for the long weekend.
